Hello Class, I am so excited to start second semester with you! We are going to finish the fantasy animals this week and then create them out of paper mache. You will make a metal armature for the inside of your sculpture and cover it with paper mache. Please turn in a new photo of your fantasy animal drawing or painting to Google Classroom, as there is some overlap from first semester. The homework this week is to draw a pet portrait. We will be doing some icebreakers and getting to know you activities during the first week of school. We will also review the Parent Letter, materials needed, and class expectations. The suggested materials for art can be found on the first page of this website. Some supplies are for you to gather from home, while others will be given to you in an art kit. You are expected to bring your art kit and materials to school each day or keep them in your class locker.
