Hello Class, We are going to finish our ice cream cone drawings this week. They are due on Wednesday. If you finish early, try drawing some of the Inktober 2025 challenges that are posted under Early Finisher assignments. October is the month of Inktober! There is no homework this week for the Jewish holidays. Enjoy!
Hello Class, This week, we are going to learn about American artist Chuck Close and his amazing self portraits! We will then create our own grid and use it to draw a soft serve ice cream cone using our best shading. This is challenging, but I know you can do it! There is no homework this week, because of the Jewish holidays, so enjoy! Make sure you take your circus and glasses home this week!
Hello Class, I hope you are enjoying creating your glasses! Your glasses are due on Tuesday for 50 points. If you finish, please do the mug drawing homework or the early finisher assignments. We are going to start learning about value and shading this week, so we can draw in 3D. We will then start a drawing of ice cream next week. Your homework is due on Friday for ten points.
Hello Class, We are going to learn about shapes this week. It sounds easy, but then we will learn how to turn shapes into three dimensional forms by shading. We are going to have a really fun project this week! We are going to make glasses out of found objects and study the work of recycling artist Cyrus Kabiru. I think you are going to love this project! The glasses will be due next week, and the homework for this week is to do the Shape Search activity, which is due on Friday for ten points.
Hello Class, I am so pleased with how this semester is going so far! All of you are engaged and doing well on your projects. I hope that you are enjoying your circus project. We will continue to work on this project through the end of the week, and it is due on Friday for 50 points. If you finish early, you can do the Early Finisher assignments on Google Classroom. Your homework this week is to do the Shape Drawings handout, which is due this Friday for ten points.
