Soft tamping device for casting paraffin blocks
LUMEA BxSOFTt HOT™ tampers and handles are available for all currently-used embedding molds. Their size is easy to identify by their unique colors: size "XS" is Yellow, "S" is Green, "M" is Red, "L" is Fuchsia, and "XL" is Blue.

The soft tamper is intended for flattening, aligning in the same plane, and maintaining the position of the paraffinated tissue samples when cooling the paraffin blocks on the embedding station. The tamper removes the need to apply great force and reduces the risk of breaking fragile biological specimens
