BRS Dewey Decimators

Dear prospective library helpers,

Are you a book lover? Do you enjoy organizing, creating, and helping others? Want to learn how a library works? If so, we extend a warm invitation for you to join the BRS Dewey Decimators!

Named after Melvil Dewey, the inventor of the Dewey Decimal System, our club offers you the opportunity to have a significant, impactful role in our school community. As a Dewey Decimator, you will help out with a variety of library tasks such as shelving books, helping to plan library initiatives, creating fun book displays, and more.

✨Member perks✨ include extended library check-out time and the added privilege of borrowing an extra book, bringing the total allowance to three books, exceeding the standard limit of two.

BRS Dewey Decimators is exclusively offered to students in 4th and 5th grade. The club is first-come, first-serve to the first 20 students who sign up.

Our meetings will take place twice a month on Thursdays in the BRS Library after school from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Meeting dates will be shared with you each month as the monthly cycle calendar is posted.
