Note: Adjustments can be made to the two week checkout period, if necessary.
Library staff will remind staff to return borrowed materials, and overdue notices will be distributed periodically throughout the school year.
If library materials are lost or damaged beyond repair, patrons are responsible for either:
Paying the replacement cost, or
Providing a replacement copy of the item.
If a lost item is paid for but later found, the district will issue a refund, provided the item has not already been replaced.
Replacement books (preferred): Replacement books do not need to be brand new but should be in good condition. For non-fiction titles, you may provide a more current version on the same topic, if desired.
Cash or check: Payments or replacement books should be sent to the main office in an envelope labeled with your child’s name, grade level, and "Library Book Replacement Fee." Checks should be made payable to Lumberton Township School District.
Staff can check their Destiny account at any time to view checkouts. Log in with district Google account.
