Kindergarten

Kindergarten will complete lessons from the Learn, Grow, Eat & GO! early childhood curriculum in science lab this year.  This curriculum will teach students about plant parts, gardening and nutrition.  They will also complete other environmental lessons and lessons connected to their science modules.  

Nature Explorers - Kindergarten students will take turns this school year being our Nature Explorers.  A bag with science related books, a journal and one of our special stuffed animal friends will be sent home on Friday with one student each week from each Kindergarten class.   The student and his/her family will be able to read the books together and go on a nature walk/ adventure to observe nature in their neighborhoods and beyond.  Students and their families can then record their adventures in the journal.  The bag, books, journal and special stuffed animal friend need to be returned on Mondays so we can share the adventures in Science Lab the next week.
