FIfth Grade

Watershed/Litter Project –This project educates our fifth grade students about the local watershed and the impact litter has on waterways.  Guest speakers from local agencies teach students about the positive and negative impacts we can have on our waterways.  

Hydroponics Gardening - Students will learn about and help to maintain a hydroponics garden in the Science Lab.  The students will grow a variety of lettuce and basil.

Robotics Exploration - Fifth grade students will participate in one of five Robotics Exploration sessions this school year.   During Robotics Exploration classes, students will problem solve and work with a partner to build a robot.  They will then participate in activities and games to build further robotics skills. 

Cooking from the Garden - Fifth grade students will cook for our March Harvest of the Month -strawberries!
