PSAT

What is the PSAT?


The PSAT measures critical reading, writing, and math problem-solving skills and is designed to give students a preview of the SAT’s questions and structure. 


Students deciding to take the PSAT will gain understanding into their academic strengths/weaknesses to better prepare for the SAT. 


Provides students the opportunity to enter the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program and other Scholarship Opportunities


When is the psat?


The PSAT will be administered on October 11, 2023 at Lowndes High School.


Students interested in taking the PSAT MUST register. 

The last day to register is AUGUST 31, 2023


How Much Does the PSAT cost?


The cost of the PSAT is $18 and is nonrefundable. 

This fee is paid when you register for the PSAT.


The Georgia Department of Education provides all first time 10th grade students an opportunity to take the exam at no cost


How Do I Register to take the PSAT?


9th & 11th grade students must register through the School Store 

Click "Testing" and then select "PSAT"


10th grade students Register Here
