The L.I. RBERN ESSA Title III Consortium is comprised of eligible school districts in both Nassau and Suffolk County. The focus of this Consortium is to enhance the education of English Language Learners (ELLs) through the integration of instructional technology into English as a New Language (ENL) programs. Through this federally funded program, ENL teachers in member districts receive comprehensive professional learning opportunities that reinforce language and content area instruction through culturally responsive and sustaining educational practices. Services include regional workshops, on-site embedded coaching, training in interpreting assessment data, and the purchasing of digital learning resources and subscriptions selected specifically to provide equitable access to academic content for ELLs in order to meet the New York State Learning Standards.
