LBPS Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Policy
HIB Reporting Procedures
Anyone who has witnessed or has reliable information that a student has been subject to harassment, intimidation and bullying must verbally report the incident to the principal or any school administrator.
The Principal will initiate an investigation within one school day of the verbal report of the incident, conducted by the school Anti-Bullying Specialist.
The Specialist will submit a written report to the Principal within two school days of the verbal report.
The investigation shall be completed and the written findings will be submitted to the Principal ASAP, but not later than ten school days from the date of written report of the alleged HIB incident..
The Principal shall proceed based on the investigation findings and the report shall be submitted through the HIB Coordinator's office to the Superintendent within two school days of the completion of the investigation.
