Student Handbook SY 2024-2025

Please view HERE the student handbook for this academic year. A student handbook is a vital resource that outlines the school's mission and vision, academic policies, and behavioural expectations. It also provides information about support services, extracurricular activities, and campus resources. By familiarizing our community with the handbook, students can navigate their academic journey effectively and understand the community's standards and resources available to them.

MAP Testing 

We are pleased to inform you that we are in the process of administering  the MAP test for our students. This standardized assessment measures students’ academic growth and proficiency in key subjects, specifically English reading and Mathematics. The test is adaptive, adjusting to each student’s level.

So far, we have successfully administered the assessment for our KG3 students. Please be guided by the below dates for the MAP assessments scheduled for G1 to 11.

October 13: MS and HS MAP Testing

October 20: ES MAP Testing

Kindly note that no preparation is required for the MAP test. Once the tests are completed and results are issued, we will share the reports  with you, providing valuable insights into your child’s academic performance.

Qudurat Assessment 

We are delighted to announce that we are in the process of supporting our students to sit for the upcoming Qudurat assessments. In the light of these efforts, we have offered an after school Qudurat program for our students and those in the community to join. Our goal is to promote a nurturing environment that would promote learning and success for all.

يرجى الاطلاع على دليل الطالب المرفق هنا لهذا العام الدراسي.و الذي  يُعتبر وثيقة أساسية تقدم إطارًا واضحاً للطلاب حول رسالة المدرسة ورؤيتها، وتشرح السياسات الأكاديمية، والتوقعات السلوكية. كما يوفر معلومات حول خدمات الدعم، والأنشطة اللامنهجية، وموارد المدارس ومرافقها. من خلال تزويد أفراد مجتمعنا المدرسي بهذا المرجع ، و الذي بدوره سيُمكّن الطلاب من توجيه مسيرتهم الأكاديمية بفعالية ،و فهم معايير المدرسة و الموارد التي يمكنهم الاستفادة منها .

اختبار MAP

يسرنا أن نبلغكم أننا بصدد إجراء اختبار MAP لطلابنا. يعد هذا الاختبار المعياري أداة لتقييم النمو الأكاديمي للطلاب وكفاءتهم في المواد الأساسية، وخاصة في القراءة باللغة الإنجليزية والرياضيات. ويتميز الاختبار  بكونه متكيفًا ، بحيث يتناسب مع مستوى كل طالب على حدة .

حتى الآن، قمنا بنجاح بإجراء التقييم لطلاب KG3. يُرجى متابعة التواريخ أدناه لاختبارات MAP المقررة من الصف الأول إلى الصف الحادي عشر:

• 13 أكتوبر: اختبار MAP للمرحلة المتوسطة والثانوية

• 20 أكتوبر: اختبار MAP للمرحلة الابتدائية 

يرجى ملاحظة أنه لايتطلب التحضير  المسبق لهذا الاختبار MAP. وبمجرد الانتهاء من الاختبارات وإصدار النتائج، سنقوم بمشاركة التقارير معكم، مما سيوفر  لكم رؤًى قيمة حول الأداء الأكاديمي للطلاب . 

تقييم القدرات

يسعدنا أن نعلن أننا نعمل حاليًا على دعم طلابنا في الاستعداد للاختبارات القادمة للقدرات. وفي إطار هذه الجهود، أطلقنا برنامجاً بعد المدرسة لتقييم القدرات للطلاب ولأفراد المجتمع للمشاركة فيه. نهدف من خلاله إلى تعزيز بيئة محفزة تعمل على دعم التعلم وتحقيق النجاح للجميع.

Hat Day was indeed an incredible day! It was amazing to see how creative our students were with their hats. They truly took their hat designs seriously and outdid themselves. Some went for classic styles, while others pushed the boundaries with unique materials and colors.

It brings warmth to our hearts to see our community come closer together in every event we plan.

كان يوم القبعات حقًا يومًا رائعا! سُعدنا فيه برؤية مدى إبداع طلابنا في تصميم قبعاتهم. لقد عملوا على تصميم قبعاتهم بشكل جدّيّ وتفوقوا على أنفسهم. اختار بعضهم أنماطًا كلاسيكية، بينما تجاوز البعض الآخر الحدود مستخدمين مواد وألوان فريدة.

إن رؤية مجتمعنا يتقارب في كل فعالية نخطط لها يُدخل الدفء ويبث السعادة في قلوبنا. 

We are excited to kickstart our after school program for Semester 1.  This session commenced on October 1 and will extend until December 9,2024. We are absolutely grateful for our community's interest in our offered after school clubs and for our club leads and supervisors' efforts in making it joyful and fruitful as possible.

يسرنا الإعلان عن بدء برنامج الأندية بعد المدرسة للفصل الدراسي الأول ، و التي بدأت في 

1 أكتوبر وستستمر حتى 9 ديسمبر 2024. ونود أن نعبر عن امتناننا الكبير لاهتمام مجتمعنا بالأندية المقدمة، ولجهود قادة الأندية والمشرفين التي تعمل على جعل هذه الأنشطة ممتعة ومثمرة قدر الإمكان.

Tips to Enhance Communication with Others:

• Be Clear and Concise: Aim for simplicity to avoid misunderstandings.

• Practice Active Listening: Show genuine interest in what others are saying.

• Encourage Open Dialogue: Create a safe space for sharing ideas and feedback.

• Use Nonverbal Cues: Pay attention to body language, eye contact, and tone.

• Be Open to Feedback: Constructive criticism can help improve communication skills.

Incorporating these principles can help foster a more collaborative and productive environment!
