Community Council
PTA
The PTA and the Community Council are essential at Adams Elementary. We owe much of our success to these organizations and to the dedicated and talented parent volunteers.
PTA:
If you would like to join or help with the PTA, please contact the front office or the co-presidents:
Shalleen Balle (801) 830-0420, shalleen.balle@gmail.com
Meagan Brewer at (435) 760-8183, meagwoo@yahoo.com
Community Council:
The Community Council is composed of teachers, parents, and the principal. This is the primary advisory council for the school and they work together to:
develop our school improvement plan
make budgetary recommendations
address parental concerns
Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to use the community council process to address their concerns. Please get in touch with the front office, the Principal, or visit this link if you want to become a Community Council member.
"The purposes of school community councils are to involve parents or guardians of students in decision making at the school level, improve the quality of education of students, prudently expend School LAND Trust Program money, and increase public awareness of school trust lands and related land policies, management of the State School Fund, and educational excellence."
