Please follow the instructions below to complete your band registration: 

It is our pleasure to inform you that registration for the 2026-27 edition of the Lockhart High School Roaring Lion Band & Color Guard is officially open! Please follow the instructions below to complete your registration.

Please complete all sections by Thursday, May 21st, 2026. Only students who complete registration on time will be eligible for a primary position for marching season.

1.  Read the LHS Roaring Lion Band & Color Guard Handbook with your parents or guardians and study all procedures and policies carefully. Print form handbooks or registration instructions in Spanish are available (see a director).

2. Complete our seven-part registration:

   • Online registration is required this year. In order to keep all data together consistent, no paper registration will be accepted.

   • A paper form Travel/Medical Form is required.

   • A paper form Preparation Physical Form dated May 1st, 2026 or later is required.

     • 1. • Physicals due by 7/15/26

3. Complete the RLB Fee Sheet/Financial Agreement & Payment Plan

   • Using My School Bucks Please fill out the correct form for Band OR Color Guard (you will be directed to the correct form)

   • If you are planning to participate in Band AND Color Guard, please complete only the Color Guard fee sheet

   • Deliver cash, check or money order to Mr. Gannon in the LHS Band Hall. Checks must be made payable to “Lockhart ISD.”

We are tightening up our finance procedures! Due to new, enhanced practices, students who do not pay fees on time will not receive their personal supplies.

4. In order to be considered for a primary marching position, 2026-27 band/guard students must complete this process by May 23rd, 2025.

In addition, all band and color guard members must send a parent representative to one of our two spring parent meetings during our upcoming rehearsals:

• May 5th, 5:30-8pm at LHS: Parent meeting at 7pm! Bilingual Option!

• May 19th, 5:30-8pm at LHS: Parent Meeting at 7pm!
