At LVC, we believe every Sunday should be an experience where kids feel loved, welcomed, and connected. It’s not just about activities—it’s about showing them God’s love in a way that sticks. 

On this page, we’ll walk you through the values that shape our kid's experience and give you the scoop on how we want kids and parents to feel when they walk through those doors. A Great Environment is…

COMFORTABLE

• The area is safe and secure

• All activities are clear and helpful

• Hallways and classrooms are uncluttered and open

CLEAN

• Every environment smells clean and fresh

• All areas are neat and in order (e.g., extra boxes out of sight, craft supplies, snacks,)

• Facility is fun and safe. Easy to access all the activities. 

• All volunteers constantly scan the floors for trash and safety

CLEAR

• Directional signage is effective and visible. Every area is clearly marked.

• Volunteers provide clear directions and valuable information so kids feel secure and safe. 

• Kids know where they are able to play

• Volunteers know transition details in order to maintain a smooth flow of service so kids are never caught by surprise.

• Volunteers provide the “WOW” welcome! 

• Volunteers are Fun and Playful 

• The fun and excitement from the kids start with the volunteers 

• With actions! All volunteers are welcoming. They smile, make eye contact, and serve with passion, excitement, and anticipation of what God is going to do through them

CONCIERGES

• Willing to pray with kids, attune to kids emotions. If a kid is sad, they will check in and see how they are doing. 

• Give feedback to parents at pickup (Johnny, jumped and sung during worship. Kelly, had a lot of questions about the topic in small group)
