Using a District Wireless Network on Your Personal Cell Phone

  • What is SSTF: LMSD Information Systems Department has established a wireless network dedicated to employees’ personal cell phones. The wireless network is called “SSTF,” which is an abbreviation for “School Safety Task Force,” since this idea grew out of the work of the School Safety Task Force and should be utilized during an emergency situation.

  • How Do I Sign up for SSTF?  Check all of the details here.

  • Note: Internet browsing done on the SSTF will be filtered by the District because the District must comply with the Children’s Internet Protection Act. Click here for more information about the Children’s Internet Protection Act.

Voicemail (Unity Messing System)

To access the voicemail from any Cisco IP phone in the building press the Messages button. You will be prompted to enter a password. Press * then YOUR voicemail extension number followed by #. When prompted, enter your PIN followed by #. If accessing voicemail from YOUR phone, simply enter your PIN at the prompt.

When you call into the voicemail system for the first time you must use the default PIN 12345. You will be taken through a series of prompts to set up your voicemail name and greeting. The system will prompt you to do the following:

  1. Record your first and last name.

  2. Record your greeting. This is what your callers will hear before they record their message. For example, “I am not available to take your call at this time. Please leave your message after the tone, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.”

  3. Change your PIN. You can choose a numeric PIN that you can easily remember. The PIN has to be at least 4 digits. The system will not allow you to choose PINs that are all the same number, like 1111, or simple sequences like 1234.

  4. You will be greeted with your voicemail options and have the opportunity to listen to any messages that might be waiting.

You can also access the voicemail system by calling (610) 645-1852 from any phone (e.g. from home). At the greeting press * then YOUR extension number followed by #. Then enter your PIN followed by #.

Voicemail is integrated into your email inbox. Voice messages will appear in your inbox as email messages, and you can listen to voice messages from your computer. It is recommended that your computer have external speakers for the best listening quality. If you have difficulty hearing your message from your computer, remember that you can call in to the voicemail system to retrieve your voicemail messages over the phone.
