Send a Welcome email to your new students and their families ahead of the first day of class. In the email, introduce yourself explain where your class information can be found. You might want to mention that we will be using SEESAW to post weekly plans. Learn more about inviting families to your Seesaw class below.

NOTE: once a parent/guardian is connected to one class (ex. homeroom) the family member will see all other classes that student is enrolled in (ex. special area, support services). Additionally, if a family was connected last year, they will automatically be connected to the new class once it becomes available. Also, students can have up to 10 family members connected.

Create and share a weekly plan with families. Make sure weekly plans are compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. The templates support the accessibility guidelines.
