Depending on the school you attend you either have, or haven't played Tchoukball. While not universal equipment in LKDSB schools, there are a number of equipment rooms that have access to a set of Tchoukball frames and the right sized balls in order to get a game going in class. On the surface, Tchoukball is no different than basketball, hockey, soccer or any other traditional target based scoring game. What sets Tchoukball apart are the rules. The game is designed with teamwork and collaboration in mind, and as such - there is no contact, no blocking and no sides. It takes some getting used to, but once you've gotten a taste of how fast the game can move when people are working together, it will quickly become a favourite amongst players of all ages.
