ROBOTICS – 1 semester
Be part of Rancho’s Robotics Competitive Team. Students will use Vex Robotics platform to design, build, and program a competition robot to perform a specific task. Students will compete against other schools as part of Rancho’s Robotics Team. You won’t want to miss it!

ADVANCED ROBOTICS - 1 year

Expand your skills in VEX VR challenges, autonomous designs, drones, CAD design, ED printing and more!. A voluntary donation of $30 is appreciated.
MUSIC PRODUCTION– 1 semester
Learn the skills it takes to create great sounding music by applying the science of sound and the art of capturing it. Students will learn how to use recording software, recording interfaces, microphones, and musical instruments to create and mix high-quality music, sound effects, and voice-overs. This class also includes a workshop fieldtrip to the Museum of Music. Musical experience is helpful but not required.
A voluntary donation of $30 is appreciated to maintain or replace program equipment.
ADVANCED COMPUTER SCIENCE – 1 year
In order to make things work, someone had to write the code! This computer programming course is a one year, hands-on course in which students learn college level computer programming. The course will cover topics such as program design, functions, loops, and Boolean logic. Java 1-8 language is used. Students will have the optional opportunity to take the Advanced Placement (A.P.) Computer Science test at the end of the course.
