JOURNALISM - 1 year

Learn what it takes to put on a television news broadcast with Trojan TV News as we learn what it takes to be a television news reporter, anchor, and producer. This class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of journalism, including researching and selecting stories, writing for print and TV news, conducting interviews, and filming and editing video.

 ADVANCED JOURNALISM - 1 year

In Advanced Journalism, students will produce and broadcast a live newscast and produce, record and distribute recordings of school productions. Students will learn how directors are needed to craft and run shows, producers are needed to create the shows, and editors and writers are needed to help bring a show to life.
