Dance

DANCE 1 – 1 semester  

Dance 1 will earn P.E. credits and introduces students to a variety of dance styles with an emphasis on jazz, ballet, hip-hop and modern dance. Students will study fundamental dance techniques as well as gain knowledge in dance history. Dancers will be given a performance opportunity during the year. 

A voluntary donation of $30 is appreciated.  

DANCE COMPANY – 1 year 

Dance Company is an audition based dance class and will earn P.E. credits. This class will focus on developing dancer technique and creativity through various dance styles. Students will learn to  choreograph their own pieces and will be given performance opportunities throughout the 

year including a formal winter and spring performance. 

Audition Mandatory.  A voluntary donation of $30 is appreciated.
