Everyday Mathematics is a program designed to capitalize on student interest and maximize student learning. This is done through concepts and skills developed over time and in a wide variety of contexts such as whole group lessons, individual practice, and math games. Throughout the year, opportunities for differentiated instruction are provided. Everyday Mathematics also introduces multiple methods and strategies for problem solving. A sampling of skills that we cover includes addition, subtraction, telling time, identifying money, geometry, graphing, and measurement. Students also learn how to answer open response questions.
