  1. Read about each environment found in Utah. In your science journal, record key details about each environment.

  2. Look at the photographs of plants and animals found in Utah. Look for similarities and differences in the plants and animals and their environments.

  3. Sort the plants into the environments they live in. Look at various structures (stems, leaves, petals, seeds, etc.) as well as the environment in the pictures.
