1: Complete Stanford’s application:
After completing the Lipstick Angels interview process, Stanford will reach out with onboarding steps for your review.
2: Complete a background check
Submit an online background check form using the link provided by Stanford. Volunteer Resources will be notified once it’s completed.
3: Complete HealthStream online training modules
Use the instructions provided by Stanford to complete your training using HealthStream; the modules will expire in 30 days. We recommend using Google Chrome to access the modules. We understand the amount of time it takes to complete these modules. Therefore, we will be giving you 8 hours of credit toward your volunteer hours.
4: Health Screening Process Instructions
Print out the attached Occupational Health forms and take them with you to the Occupational Health Services (OHS) Department. Please take a copy of your vaccine records for the immunizations listed on the form. OHS will provide you with a QuantiFERON (blood draw) TB test at no cost. No appointment is necessary. Directions to their office can be found on the form. *The hours of operation on this form are inaccurate. Current hours of operation are 7am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.
5: COVID/Flu Vaccinations
COVID vaccines AND boosters are required for all volunteers. If you have already had your COVID vaccine, please bring proof of your vaccination to Occupational Health Services when you come in for your health screening.
Flu vaccinations are also required for volunteers. If you have already had your flu vaccine, please bring proof of your vaccination to Occupational Health Services when you come in for your health screening. If you have NOT had your flu vaccine, Occupational Health can provide one at no cost (please let them know if you would like to get the flu vaccine. If you would like to decline the flu vaccine, please let me know and I will send instructions on how to do this.
6: Attend New Volunteer Orientation (NVO)
Once you have completed the requirements above, we will reach out and invite you to a New Volunteer Orientation session, held over Zoom.
7: Get your badge photo taken
After NVO, I will send you forms and instructions for obtaining a volunteer ID badge through our Security Access department. You will be required to have a badge prior to volunteering. The badge will provide you access to any necessary buildings, as well as the parking garage.
