All PA students are required to complete clinical rotations at assigned sites as part of their educational program. These rotations are essential components of the curriculum and completion of all assigned rotations is mandatory for program progression and graduation.
Transportation Requirements
Students must have reliable transportation throughout the duration of the program. Students are solely responsible for maintaining their transportation and covering all associated costs, including but not limited to:
Vehicle maintenance and repairs
Fuel expenses
Insurance costs
Parking fees
Public transportation fees (if applicable)
Travel Expectations
Lack of transportation is not considered a valid reason for absence from or reassignment of clinical rotations. Students may be required to travel to rotation sites located beyond what is considered a commutable distance from campus. The program reserves the right to assign students to any affiliated clinical site based on educational needs and site availability.Â
Financial Responsibility
Students are financially responsible for all expenses related to clinical rotations, including:
Transportation costs
Temporary housing arrangements
Meals and daily living expenses
Any other costs associated with completing rotations at distant sites
Advance Notice
The program will make reasonable efforts to provide students with advance notice of rotation assignments that may require significant travel or temporary relocation. Students should plan accordingly for potential travel requirements throughout the clinical phase of the program.
Hardship Considerations
Students experiencing extreme hardship related to travel requirements may submit a written request for consideration to the Clinical Director. While the program will review hardship requests, approval of alternative arrangements is not guaranteed and students should not assume exceptions will be made.
