Deceleration is defined as the loss of a student from the entering cohort, who remains matriculated in the program. As such, a student may decelerate to a subsequent cohort only in conjunction with an approved leave of absence. The program does not offer deceleration solely for academic reasons related to failure of progression and/or dismissal.
