All pre-matriculated, matriculated, and enrolled Physician Assistant (PA) students across all program phases and instructional locations must acknowledge receipt of, review, and agree to abide by all programmatic and institutional standards and expectations outlined in the student handbook. The program ensures these standards, guidelines, and procedures are published, readily available, and consistently applied to all students, regardless of location.
Associated ARC-PA Standard (A3.01): Program standards are published, readily available, and consistently applied to all students, principal faculty, staff, and the program director, regardless of their location.
Handbook Accessibility and Review: The program maintains the student handbook in electronic format, ensuring it remains accessible to students at all times. Students must review the student handbook upon matriculation and whenever the program publishes significant updates.
Formal Acknowledgment: Students must formally verify their understanding of and agreement to adhere to all program standards and expectations. Complete and submit the official Acknowledgment of Handbook and Standards form electronically via DocuSign.
Compliance Commitment: Students must abide by all programmatic and institutional standards, guidelines, and procedures throughout their enrollment in the PA program.
Record Maintenance and Security: The program securely distributes, collects, and verifies the acknowledgment forms. Program personnel must file and securely retain these completed forms within each student's official electronic academic record, ensuring access is strictly restricted to authorized program personnel.
Students who fail to sign the Acknowledgment of Handbook and Standards Form will not be allowed to matriculate.
