You should begin the ODSP application process when you are 17.5 years old.
Your first step will be to locate your area office:

Or apply by calling the ODSP office numbers above. If you call, state that the purpose of your phone call is to apply for ODSP - Income Support. Your call will be handled by an Administrative Support Clerk who has up to two days to complete the screening depending on operational needs. Efforts will be made to complete the screening on the same day. The Clerk will ask some preliminary questions to determine qualification. This step is a preliminary assessment.
To confirm financial eligibility, the following must be provided:
Social insurance number, health card number, banking and other financial information, income, DSO confirmation of eligibility letter
