For Educators
Our Goal
Our education programs provide youth the ability to do hands on learning while being immersed in the scientific process. We provide this opportunity to secondary students, post-secondary students, teachers, professors, and educators through our various programs. We hope that we can help bridge education and research in a variety of settings, to a variety of students.

Educational Resources
Acting as a bridge between science education and science research, we have a variety of lesson plans, videos, activities, and educational resources that span across all grade levels and various subject areas, including development into Indigenous-focused resources. We even have a section explaining what a synchrotron is. Have an idea but unsure how to connect it to your classroom? Our team is always open to discussing ideas. Connect with us and we can work together to adapt to your class!

Each speaker also connects to an area in STEM and/or Indigenous Knowledge. You can review their abstracts and see previous seminars!
Career Corner
The staff at CLS is vast and varied. At one point, there have been 25 different first languages among our staff! Many stories to learn from and connect to!
In this section you will find interviews with employees, captured in video, social media posts, and downloadable resources.
Helpful Links
Any educator knows the saying: "You don't have to recreate the wheel". When resources are shared, new ideas are sparked!
