RC RACE

Radio controlled (or) RC Cars are battery powered modeled cars that can be controlled from a distance using transmitter/remote. RC car races are famous for their on-terrain action and sports. The Bots are tested for endurability and excellence. Each car is allowed to trace the track that consist of difficulties for every nook and corner. The Car that takes the least time to excell the track is qualified as the winner.

Bot Specifications:

• The size of the bot should be within 300*300*300 (mm). Bots that aren’t in par with the given dimensions aren’t allowed to take part in the race
• The maximum voltage supplied to the bot should be 12V
• The bot may be wired or wireless

Track and Team rules:

• A team can consist a maximum of 4 members but only 2 members from the team will be allowed on the race track during the race.
• Each team is allowed a maximum of 3 touches’ and 3 skips during the race .
• The Bot should be able to endeavor through all laid out terrains such as mud, dirt, stones, sand dunes, pot holes, etc.
• The Bot should be resistant to water and fire. The organizers are not responsible if any damage occurs to the bot during the event
• If the bot gets damaged during the prelims or the final race, the team can take about a maximum of 5 minutes for repair

General rules:

• Prelims maybe conducted depending on the number of participants enrolling
• Safety is our first priority. Please make sure you report to the volunteer in case of any emergency

• Participants should come in neat Formals (No Jeans and T-Shirts are allowed).
• Usage of mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the campus.
• Each round marks will be evaluated for final result.
• The decision of event coordinators/judges will be final.
