Universal Screeners &
Progress Monitoring
Universal screening through a brief assessment given to all students helps us identify students who experience lower than expected outcomes and may be at risk of not meeting grade level standards by the end of the school year. Grades K-8 utilize AIMSWeb Plus for universal screeners in both math and reading, as well as additional progress monitoring if needed.
BAS Assessments are given to students in grades K-4 to support teachers in identifying instructional and independent reading levels. BAS assessments further help intervention teachers determine reading levels and monitor growth throughout the school year.
CLI Engage is given to prekindergarten and kindergarten students to determine readiness and effectiveness of our early education programs.
For assessment windows, view the LHISD Testing Calendar.
