Dual Language Program Application

In order for a student to participate in the Dual Language Immersion Program, the application process must be followed for students who are considered English proficient (students whose first language is English and do not meet the English Learner criteria).  Students who are identified as English Learners (students whose first language is not English and meet the English Learner criteria) are provided automatic entry, with parent permission, if recommended by the LPAC as per Texas Education Code (TEC), §29.053.

• The application is for incoming PreK and Kinder students only. 

• The Dual Language Program application will be available in late March/early April. 

• Students who are not identified as an English Learner will need to complete the application.

• A lottery will be held should the interest be higher than the program capacity.

• There is no non-English Learner application process for grades 1 and 2.
