Applying to 2 year, community college and trade schools are free. Applications to 4 year schools usually go for $50-$85 dollars. If you have free or reduced lunch, you can get an application waiver.
It is recommended that you apply for 1 dream school, 2-4 schools you will likely get acceptance, and a community college option. This way you have several options when it's time to decide.
All schools will need a transcript and test scores sent to the admission department. Transcripts can be ordered in the counselor's office. Test scores can be sent directly from your SAT/ACT portal.
The earlier the better! Some schools have priority deadlines that also enable you to qualify for university scholarships. Try to have all applications submitted by November 31st.
