Deadline to complete application steps for next year: May 21, 2026
For Summer: Registration opens March 30-April 2 Current Students; April 3 New Students
For Fall: Registration opens May 11-14; May 15 New Students
Students must register themselves for dual credit classes. Due to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations, colleges are only permitted to discuss enrollment and academic information directly with the student, not the parent or guardian. This policy helps protect student privacy and ensures students take responsibility for their college coursework and registration process.
Complete the form: Dual Credit Course Request. After filling out the Google Form you will receive an email. You must print it off to obtain signatures and turn into the Counseling Office.
If you are a returning ACC student, skip to Step #6.
Fill out Application:
First create an account and then go to Dual Credit - Apply Now. Include your SSN when applying, even though it is listed as not required. ACC will not process applications without an SSN. Parent Agreement will be emailed to the provided parent email. Parents must sign it for the application to be complete.

Activate ACCeID and ACCmail
* Send your counselor an email from your ACC account proving that you have completed this step including your ACC eID number in the email. You may have to wait 24-48 hours after filling out the ACC application.
* Contact the ACC HelpDesk if you cannot activate your ACC email.
Complete the Online Orientation and Assessment
Do not do this until you have received your ACC EID number. You must login and complete an assessment at the end in order to receive credit. You will not be eligible to register if this is not done.
Take TSI Assessment (Unless you are exempt)
Your counselor submits scores for you.
You may be exempt from TSI based on test scores:
SAT: EBRW 480+ / Math 530+
ACT: Composite 23 (19+ on both English & Math)
Once you have completed all steps, then you will be allowed to Register for Classes
*Choose online courses that do not meet at a specific time during the day (asynchronous).
