Dual Credit
*Dual Credit courses taken through ACC, ASU, and OnRamps are considered college courses. Therefore, if you need accommodations you must request them through the college. 504 Plans and IEPs do not automatically transfer to college.
*Because you are considered a college student in these courses, the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) transfers the ownership of your records directly to you. According to FERPA, college students, regardless of their age, are considered responsible adults and are allowed to determine who will receive information about them. While parents understandably have an interest in a student's academic progress, they are not automatically granted access to a student's records without written consent of the student. Parents are encouraged to consult with the student if academic information is needed. Disability Laws: Secondary vs. Post-Secondary
Please keep in mind that it can take college/universities several weeks to upload transcripts to student accounts. Students who have taken dual credit/dual enrollment courses in high school must request their college transcript to send to the college they will be attending after graduation.
LHHS Transcripts
Requests for transcripts will go through SchooLinks; If transcripts are needed for a college application, please work with your school counselor.
ACC Transcripts
ASU Transcripts
UT OnRamps Transcripts
Students who earn and accept college credit in an OnRamps course may request a transcript from UT Austin's Office of the Registrar Transcript Services and have it sent to their chosen higher education institution. Students will not automatically receive a transcript.
