  • We will continue our unit on Chemical Reactions & Energy. Students will examine how energy is absorbed and released during reactions, the difference between endothermic and exothermic processes, and how these changes connect to real-world phenomena like cooking, combustion, and life processes. Students will begin to see chemical reactions not just as changes in substances, but as systems shaped by energy transfer, patterns, and underlying laws of science. This unit emphasizes observation, reasoning, and questioning to deepen understanding of how and why reactions occur.
