The story follows Claudia and her brother Jamie, who run away and live in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The novel focuses on problem-solving, independence, and responsibility.

Daily practice with facts and mental math *** If your child is not above the 5's multiplication yet, PLEASE study with them each night for homework. It is essential that they know these to be successful with many math concepts. We will have a special Ice cream sundae party or doughnuts when everyone passes their 12's. 6 students have already passed and a few are very close!
