Students are encouraged to use the Common App in order to apply to colleges. This allows students to only have to enter their information once and then select any school who uses the Common App, of which there are over 900 including many in Ohio. The site also has valuable searching options which can help you explore different colleges based on cost, majors, and location types.
Colleges often use the ACT test, in addition to other factors, when determining a student's preparedness for their school and in financial aid decisions. Each spring Juniors take the ACT test at Logan High School. However, students will often times need to take the test more than once to get a true score that matches their abilities. When you take the test you get to send your scores to 4 schools for free.

Many college bound students from Logan High School attend the nearby Ohio University at one of the two local campuses.
This is the flagship campus for Ohio University. It houses over 250 areas of study and offers countless opportunities to grow and learn outside of the classroom. Make sure to apply before November 15th, 2019 to be considered for all financial aid options.
We are fortunate to be so close to this regional branch campus. As a graduate of Logan High School you are guaranteed admission to OUL. Between the lower cost, free parking, and the option to transfer after two years to either the Athens Campus or another institution many students find this a great place to start their career.
