Use JIT Infant Toolkit “Paint, Animate and Mix” tabs to create your very own superhero comic book. First ask your students to design a superhero using the paint tool found within the JIT Infant Toolkit, from there the students can export the picture and use it to create an animation or make a comic within Mix.
Ask your students the question, "Which superhero is your favourite?" (or ask them what superpowers they would most like to possess). Record the results using JIT Infant Toolkit “Pictogram” tab. Students can draw their own hero symbols and ask each other, “Who is their favourite hero?” and “Why?”
Create your own comic strip using “Super Action Comic Book Maker”. Comic maker is great for Art and for Literacy, allowing pupils to bring their own superhero to life and not only add and customise backgrounds and superheroes, but also speech and effect bubbles to create a narrative
Get your students to create and write about their very own superhero. They can choose a superhero, colour them in and then experiment with the different colours and fabric textures available. They can also add accessories such as boots, gloves, helmets, goggles, emblems and more!
Use this template “People who help us. Ask your students to explore the concept of real world superheroes (such as from a fireman, doctor, bus driver, football coach and many more)! Students can colour in the picture in and then write about how these people help us in our lives.
