How can we know what life we are preparing pupils for and why does technology matter?

'You can't predict what the future is going to hold, but you can prepare children for it. And if you develop the key skills and I'm not necessarily talking academically either. If you develop the key skills and core values in those children and you give them the chance to be able to explore and think creatively and solve problems. Then you have children that can pick up any piece of technology and use it. '

What role does high expectations of technology have in school improvement?

'One of the key responsibilities about what we do is having really clear and high expectations for every single child here. What we have to do is we have to look at every single child completely individually and make sure that the curriculum that they're following matches them and really facilitates their journey to give them the skills that they need in their preparation for adulthood.'

How can we use technology with greater precision?

'The precise use technology, knowing when to use technology, knowing what to use in terms of apps, in terms of workflows, will save time and reduce cognitive load for children, meaning they can really focus on what they're here for, which is learning.' PedTech 3 RGS
