Beauty and the Beast is about a young girl (Belle) who lives in a small village and wants adventure. One day her father (Maurice) gets lost in the woods on his way to show his invention at the fair. He stumbles upon a castle. In the castle there are a bunch of enchanted objects (Chip, Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Cogswerth, Babette, The Wardrobe).  The objects help Maurice get better but the master of the castle (Beast) does not approve and he locks Maurice up in the dungeon. When Belle hears about this she goes to the castle and switches spots with Maurice. Over time Belle and the Beast fall in love with each other, but Gaston who wants to marry Belle decides to go kill the beast so he can marry Belle. The enchanted objects fight back, but in the end Beast gets very hurt. Belle rushes up next to him and tells him she loves him and that brings him back to life, and transforms everyone back to human.
