The International Baccalaureate® (IB) provides a range of professional development for schools, including face-to-face and online workshops, webinars, blended learning and e-learning resources. (IB Website)
Teachers from the Lexington One IB Program will be trained at a wide variety of IBO-certified professional development training programs. The IBO is consistent with their review of curriculum and Lexington One has committed to a similarly consistent training of the educators that are associated with the teaching or implementation of the IB Program. When a student enters the IB Program, they can be confident that their teacher has had access to the high quality training and resources that the IBO produces. Teachers are able to collaboratively learn with other IB instructors from around the world, taking time to work together to better understand the implications of the IB curriculum, the ATL (Approaches-to-Learning), the ATT (Approaches-to-Teaching), and the international-mindedness that underpins the entire International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
