Title: Durp Ohio

Statement: I chose the theme clay because i like making stuff with clay. I created this piece using cardboard studio and my materials were hot glue cardboard tape and cardboard. My favorite part about this studio was hot gluing stuff down. The hardest part about my studio was cuting the shapes out.

Title: The Snakes Record

Statement: I chose the theme “Phobias“ because I like snakes and because there is a phobia that is the fear of snakes. I thought that it would be a perfect opportunity to draw my favorite animal. I created this piece using Drawing studio and my materials were colored pencils, markers, pencils, and paper. My favorite part about this studio was drawing the snake in the skull with the snake coiled around the record. The hardest part about my studio was finding the right colors to fit and match the patterns.

Title: The Kracken

Statement: I chose the theme phobia because I like Krackens. I created this piece using drawing studio and my materials were paper, colord pencils, and scissors. My favorite part about this studio was the final product. The hardest part about my studio was blending the colors.

Title: My Yarn Weaving

Statement: I chose the theme patterns because I like the way patterns look. I created this piece using fiber studio and my materials were different colors of yarn. My favorite part about this studio was finishing because I finally finished after all that work. The hardest part about my studio was It took a long time to do.

Title: Cry Baby

Statement: I chose the theme song lyric because I’ve been wanting to make an art piece of Melanie Martinez’s music. I created this piece with my materials as paint and a canvas. My favorite part about this studio was sketching the draft, but the hardest part was painting water.

Title: Fishy Underwater

Statement: I chose the theme texture because i spent a lot of time on it and I'm proud of it. I created this piece using clay studio and my materials were clay, clay water, and clay tools. My favorite part about this studio was painting it. The hardest part about my studio was shaping the pieces.

Statement:  I chose the theme texture because starfish have texture. I created this piece using studio and my materials were clay and paint and clay tools. My favorite part about this studio was forming the clay. The hardest part about my studio was painting.

Statement:  I chose the theme texture because I feel like turtles have a lot of texture to add. I created this piece using clay studio and my materials were clay, slip, and clay tools. My favorite part about this studio was making all the clay and painting. The hardest part about my studio was Shaping the turtle.

Statement: I chose the theme Dream because I felt like doing the dream theme. I created this piece using The digital art studio and my materials were Ipad and stylis. My favorite part about this studio was Drawing the football player. The hardest part about my studio was getting the colors right.

Title: Watermelon Inspired Bowl

Statement: I chose the theme Artist's Choice because I wanted to make a bowl for my cereal. I created this piece using cermics studio and my materials were clay, tools and glaze. My favorite part about this studio was glazing. The hardest part about my studio was getting the glaze just right.

Title: Dinosaurs

Statement:  I chose to make a dinosaur because my brother made one and I wanted to make it a girlfriend. I created this piece using fiber studio and my materials were felt, thread, and a needle to sew. My favorite part about this studio was sewing. The hardest part about my studio was getting the stitches even.

Title: Sunset with Old Timey Love Letter

Statement: I chose the theme sunset with old times love letter because it gave a warm feeling to the art. I created this piece using paint studio and my materials were paint and paint brushes and water. My favorite part about this studio was Making the art and it all coming together. The hardest part about my studio was definitely making the tree and also making the letter

Title: Floating Moon

Statement:  I chose the theme texture because wet toilet paper gives off lots of texture when it dries. I created this piece using paper mache studio and my materials were using toliet paper, a balloon, and fairy lights. My favorite part about this studio was putting the toilet paper on the balloon. The hardest part about my studio was painting the balloon and not getting dents in the paper.

Title: Kirby Riding a Golden Carpet

Statement: I chose the theme architecture because I wanted to show Kirby flying over a city. I created this piece using digtal art studio and my materials were a stylist and a iPad. My favorite part about this studio was creating the background. The hardest part about my studio was creating the buildings and the Kirby.

Title: Mountains

Statement: I chose the theme painting because i really enjoy drawing mountains and I've never really painted before. I created this piece in the painting studio studio and my materials were paint, brushes, and a canvas. My favorite part about this studio was the trees. The hardest part about my studio was the water, and trying to get it to reflect.

Statement: I chose the theme artist choice because I could make whatever I wanted. I created this piece using sculpture studio and my materials were cardboard, paper mache and paint. My favorite part about this studio was painting my sea turtle. The hardest part about my studio was paper macheing

Statement: I chose the opposite theme because I thought it would look cool. I created this piece using collage studio and my materials were wrapping paper and construction paper. My favorite part about this studio was making it. The hardest part about my studio was cutting the paper.

Title: Landscape

Statement: I created this piece using printmaking studio and my materials were ink and paper. My favorite part about this studio was inking the paper. The hardest part about my studio was washing all of the ink off my hand. 

Title: Unfinished

Statement: I created this piece in the drawing studio. I chose the theme phobia because it would look good as a drawing. I created this piece using drawing studio and my materials were pencil, oil pastel color pencil. My favorite part about this studio is drawing the piece. The hardest part about this studio was making the hand in the drawing.

Title: Spring Day

I chose the theme texture because I knew adding a 3D aspect would make the piece better. I created this piece using painting studio and my materials were acrylic paint and dried acrylic paint chips. My favorite part about this studio was blending the sky colors and hot glueing the paint chips to the tree. The hardest part about my studio was making sure I had painted every crevice in between the flowers.

Title: Neon Lights

Statement: I chose the theme in motion because i felt like it would be a cool thing to do with print making and i really liked the idea of it. I created this piece using the print making studio and my materials were styrafoam, neon green,neon purple, neon yellow and neon red ink. My favorite part about this studio was putting the ink on because it helped bring color to my piece and made it all fit together. The hardest part about my studio was making the design because i kept changing my mind on the design and smudged the ing a lot. Along with making the right size paper.

Title: Boom

Statement: I chose the theme collage because i wanted to try something different I created this piece using notebook pages studio and my materials were glue pencil notebook pages. My favorite part about this project is putting the notebook pages on the paper it looked cool. The hardest part is putting the npages on the right way

Title: A day in the Life of a pro golfer

I chose the theme dream because it is my dream to be a pro golfer. I created this piece using sculpture studio and my materials were card board, acrylic paint, and hot glue. My favorite part about this studio was making the project. The hardest part about my studio was the cardboard tape.

Title: Volcano Paradise

Statement: I chose the theme landscape because I had a large variety of choices. I created this piece using printmaking studio and my materials were ink, and linoleum. My favorite part about this studio was the detail in the mountains. The hardest part about my studio was mixing the ink to create the lava.

Title: The Beach Sun and Mountain Moon

Statement: I chose the theme painting because i really enjoy painting and i think i could really improve. I created this piece using the painting studio and my materials were paints, brush's, and a foam board. My favorite part about this studio was probably making the Beach sun part mostly because I thought the beach water was really cool and i love the beach in general. The hardest part about my studio was probaly the beach side because i had to make the water different water than the sky and it was hard blending and making new colors.

Title: Freddy the Flamingo

Statement: I chose the theme off the page artwork because I wanted the painting to look kind of realistic like it's jumping out the picture. I created this piece using painting studio and my materials were acrylic paint and the paint brushes. My favorite part about this studio was the background. Th ehardest part about this studio was making the legs and sketching the flamingo.

Title: Kobe Grinches and Reverse Grinches

Statement: I chose the theme opposites because I like mismatch shoes. I created this piece by using drawing studio and my materials were crayons and color pencils and alcohol markers. My favorite part about this studio was being able to erase mistakes with a pencil. The hardest part about my studio was doing my final because it was very stressful.

Title: Weaving

Statement: I did not choose a theme for my project. I created this piece using fiber studio and my materials were yarn, needle, and a loom. My favorite part about this studio was getting to design how I wanted it to look. The hardest part about my studio was learning how to start.

Title: Fire

Statement: I chose the theme zodiacs because I am a Leo. I created this piece by using clay studio and my materials were clay and glaze. My favorite part about this studio was finishing it. 

Title: Toucan in the trees

Statement: I chose the theme color schemes because I really wanted to make my toucan pop with the forest background. I created this piece by using painting studio and my material was acrylic paint. My favorite part about this studio was learning new things about painting. The hardest part of this studio was getting the background to be the the right colors.

Title: Butterfly Dream

Statement: I chose the theme dream because when I was younger I had always dreamed of butterflies. I created this piece using the painting studio and my materials were paint ,paint pens, pencils, and paint brushes. My favorite part about this studio was getting to experiment with different kinds of paint. The hardest part about my studio was doing the whole butterfly because that butterfly was on the actual paper.

Title: The Light Bulb Reduction Print

Statement: I chose the theme invention because when I saw the theme it wasn't exactly the way it was interpreted, but it was still able to do it, but in the end I had a good idea and I thought it would look extremely good so I had faith in it. I created this piece using the printmaking studio and my materials were linoleum, carving tools, and ink and glass plates. My favorite part about this studio was trying to do something that was harder then doing the basic stuff and that turned out pretty well. The hardest part about my studio was trying to get the right carving details and hope it turns out right.

Title: Tulip Fields

Statement: I chose the theme Texture because I thought that it would fit very well with collage and because I was doing a field of flowers I thought it would look good. I created this piece using the collage studio and my materials were scissors, glue, textured paper, magazine paper and construction paper. My favorite part about this studio was getting the paper out of the magazines and the books to find my materials. The hardest part about my studio was finding the right spots to put the flowers or finding the right materials that would look good together.

Title: Beach Day

Statement: I chose the theme nostalgia because I used to go to the beach with my dad and we went into the ocean to look for seashells to keep them. I created this piece using a painting studio and my materials were paint and a pencil for shading. My favorite part about this studio was using the primary colors. The hardest part about my studio was getting the umbrellas to not look flat.

Title: Orange Slices

Statement: I chose the theme texture because the peeling of the orange is ruffled and it has texture on the outside. I created this piece using the sculpture studio and my materials were cardboard, hot glue, cutting knife, x-acto knife. My favorite part about this studio was getting to try something new. And getting to use hot glue and cutting pieces to form an orange. The hardest part about my studio was making sure all my orange slices fit perfectly and making them all the same size.

Title: Mushroom Neighborhood

Statement: I chose the theme magically because i like fantasies. I created this piece in the Drawing studio using chalk pastels and colour pencils. My favorite part about this studio was cutting it out. The hardest part about my studio was the colors.

Title: Russia

Statement: I chose the theme artist inspired because Mrs. Ritch was talking about a kid in the past who made a tank and i have made one in the past and i liked it. I created this piece using cardboard studio and my materials were glue, paint, tape, cardboard. My favorite part about this studio was making my project. The hardest part about my studio was having the right measurements.

Title: Orquideas (Orchids)

Statement: I chose the theme collage because it's fun created this piece using paper, colored pencil and pieces of magazines. My favorite part about this studio was tidying things up. The hardest part about my studio was nothing.

Title: Kitty Cat

Statement: I chose the theme artist's choice because it doesn’t really fit in with others because its not a portrait of a human, its a portrait of my cat. I created this piece using a painting studio and my materials were red, blue, and yellow acrylic paint, paintbrush, canvas, cup of water, and a palette. My favorite part about this studio was painting the fur. The hardest part about my studio was getting it done before the deadline.

Statement: I chose the theme portrait because I wanted to try it. I created this piece using clay studio and my materials were clay, clay tools, paint, and a roller. My favorite part about this studio was making texture on the cross. The hardest part about my studio was be done well.

Title: The Dream Catcher

Statement: I chose the theme, creating something out of fiber, because I wanted to learn how to crochet. I created this piece using the Fiber studio and my materials were yarn, scissors, and a loom. My favorite part about this studio was picking the color palette and watching the piece come together. The hardest part about my studio was setting up the loom to start crocheting with it.

Title: Dangers of Spring

Statement: I chose the theme of Opposites and Nature because It was starting to become spring and I thought why don’t we start spring off with flowers and animals. I created this piece using the Drawing studio and my materials were Colorpencils, chalk, and a pencil to outline it. My favorite part about this studio was Doing the humming bird because of its majestic colors. The hardest part about my studio was The Frog because I was trying to get the body to big and trying to place it in the right spot.

Title: Scary Eyes

Statement: I chose the theme phobia because it looks cool and also kind of a scary vibe. I created this piece using the printmaking studio and my materials were, ink, styrofoam, pen, and a roller. My favorite part about this studio was painting the styrofoam and pressing it down on the paper. The hardest part about my studio was thinking about what i was going to do for this studio.

Title: Slum House

Statement: I chose the theme architecture because I love building things. I created this piece using a sculpture studio and my materials were box cutter, hot glue, cardboard, fabric, and texture. My favorite part about this studio was making detail in the slum house. The hardest part about my studio was putting the fabric in the house and putting the house together.

Title: A-10 Thunderbolt II Clay Title

Statement: I chose the theme, artists choice, solely due to this choice allowing me to choose what I preferred for this particular showcase. This creative freedom allowed for my ideas to blossom into this piece. Though it may not look like much, I have put a lot of work into making sure this piece was presentable. I created this piece using the clay studio, and my materials were clay. My favorite part about this studio was mainly how it allowed for me to gain artistic experience, as well as allowed me to incorporate a bit more detail into my piece. The hardest part about my studio was, in all, ensuring symmetry, something that was incredibly challenging due to many factors such as improper measurements, usage of too much water, etc.

Title: Dirt Bike Animation

Statement: I chose the theme animation because it’s fun to do. I created this piece using collage studio and my materials were magazines. My favorite part about this studio was creating my animation. The hardest part about my studio was getting the collage to cover the paper.

Title: The Reflecting Planet

Statement: I chose the theme surrealism because i think surrealism is such a good theme because its like fantasy and realism meet. I created this piece using digital art studio and my materials were my i-pad using the app sketchbook. My favorite part about this studio was making the planet and making the background but if i were to choose one of them it would be the background. The hardest part about my studio was making the background and finding the right brush to make it better.

Statement: I chose the theme art in motion because it's awesome. I created this piece using photography studio and my materials were a camera, a light and myself. My favorite part about this studio was making the photos. The hardest part about my studio was lighting.

Title: The Fear of Not Being Enough/Overthinking

Statement: I chose the theme phobias because I feel like you can express a lot through phobias and I know that a lot of people have thoughts in their head like the ones I included in my art piece. I created this piece using the drawing studio and my materials were charcoal, paper, blenders, pencil, black color pencil, and ink. My favorite part about this studio was being able to incorporate so much meaning behind my art. The hardest part about my studio was trying not to get charcoal on me, and blending the charcoal.

Title: Gameboy

Statement: The Gameboy artwork is a print, meaning I used ink and and I also used linoleum to print the design on paper. By far, this was one of the most fun pieces of artwork I’ve done all year.

Statement: I chose the theme mixed media because i enjoy painting. I created this piece using painting, And drawing.studio and my materials were sketch pencils, watercolor paints, and ink. My favorite part about this studio was drawing the person. The hardest part about my studio was painting it to.Where the colors didn't mix and turn brown.
