The children have been writing their character descriptions and looking at instructions - what their features are and creating success criteria. In maths, the children have been learning about length - measuring lengths, converting between centimetres and metres and ordering lengths. In history, the children have been learning about the ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses as well as why the Egyptians built pyramids. In science, the children have been learning about friction and in art, they have been investigating collage.
Next week the children will be writing their own instructions for the process of making papyra paper. In maths they will complete their length work and move onto mass. In science, the children will investigating the effects of magnets and lookikng at the properties of magnets. In RE, the children are exploring Jesus' miracles and thinking about miracles they would like to see. In history, the children are looking at the process of mummification.
