We have had a fantastic two weeks in Early Years. Reception have started their phonics lessons and we are all becoming amazing sound detectives. We had a great time acting out tea parties after reading The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Our book this week has been Mixed and we have used our colour mixing skills to create our own colourful blobs.

In maths, we have explored repeating patterns and have challenged each other to continue patterns we have made using lego.

We continue to build on our friendship and sharing skills, and have acted out little stories in circle time about how to be a good friend.

The children in Nursery have settled much better this week. In Nursery, we have been learning about making friends and their names. We continue to learn about our families and celebrate our differences. In maths, we have been playing practical subtraction games. During phonics we are listening to environmental sounds!
