Stakeholder Voice &
Wider Community Engagement Lead Role
It is recommended that the Stakeholder Voice & Wider Community Engagement Lead Academy Committee member aims to make at least a termly class visit (minimum of 3 visits per school year)
The remit for this role should include:
Pupils:
To have the opportunity to talk with and listen to the views of pupils including the school council.
To have an understanding of the class timetable and routines and extra curricular activities.
To observe the classroom environment.
As relevant to the age group(s) to develop an understanding of transition issues for pupil intake and pupil leavers and how the school is addressing these issues.
Parents & Local Community:
Establish and maintain relationships with members of the local community
Receive and review with the principal feedback from parent/carer surveys
Support the school and Trust in the overview of the Extended School Provision from a parent perspective
Ensure systems are in place consistent with the Trust strategy for effective communication, marketing and media (with parents/carers and the wider community including the local Parent Teacher Association)
Staff:
Review Staff Wellbeing arrangements for identification of any areas of concern for referral to the Trustees for remedial action
Monitor the range of CPD offered for staff development
All:
Monitor staff, parent/carer and pupil feedback relating to Wellbeing
Contribute to the School Development Plan/Self Evaluation Framework and monitor progress of areas relating to Wellbeing

Do the other children behave well?
Can you explain to me what happens if a pupil is behaving badly?
What rewards do you get for good behaviour?
Area - Safeguarding
How safe do you feel at school on a scale of 1 to 10? (where pupils give a low score, ask what could be done to make them feel safer)
How safe do you feel in the classroom?
How safe do you feel in the playground?
Are the other children friendly?
How do pupils treat others who might be different because of their race, gender, religion etc.?
How do other pupils help to make the school a safe place?
Do the adults in your school listen to you?
Do you know who to go to if you're worried about something?
