This week we have been to the Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden:

We have had a great trip to the Mosque this week! In the gloriously warm sunshine, we walked to the bus stop and then took the bus all the way to Morden. When we got to the Mosque, the people there were really friendly and gave us some snacks and juice before giving us a wonderful tour of the building. We were able to spot features like the minaret (where they would usually issue the call to prayer), the prayer halls and the Minbar (where the Imam leads the service). We had such a fantastic time and the guides who took us around were so knowledgeable.

We had a fantastic day out in the sun and can't wait to finish our RE lessons and find out even more about Islam!
