Our Year 6 Basketball Team took part in the LEO Basketball Competition. After lots of close matches the team managed to finish the competition in 4th place out of 8 schools. Well done Team.

On Tuesday our Year 6 football team travelled to Dorking Wanderers FC for the U11 Surrey Cup Final vs Harrodian. 

A fantastic start to the match saw us take an early lead through Theo. Shortly after, we would find ourselves trailing 2-1 and a fantastic finish from Ralph would square things up again at 2-2. The game quickly started to get away from us after Harrodian scored 3 quick goals to lead 5-2 at half time.

A much better 2nd half from us saw us get back into the game. The boys threw everything they had at Harrodian and 2 direct corner goals from Jack W got the score back to 6-4, however it would not be enough.

Congratulations to Harrodian for winning the Surrey Cup. 

What a fantastic achievement for our boys football team to make it to the Surrey Cup Final 2 years in a row and become the first Sutton Team since 2008 to make the U11 Boys Final.

On Wednesday our Year 6 Hardball Cricket Team travelled to Cheam Cricket Club to take part in the group stage of the Geoff Richards Trophy. We would play 2 tough matches vs Westbourne and then Brookfield.

Westbourne 224 - 215 CPF

CPF 231 - 230 Westbourne

As all teams managed to win one match the group would be decided on Net run rate with Brookfield coming out on top.
