What another great couple of weeks year 6 have had!
Maths: This week, our Year 6 mathematicians have delved into the world of BODMAS, a crucial tool for solving complex calculations. They've also been busy converting measurements between centimeters and millimeters, and centimeters and meters. It's amazing to see how quickly they're grasping these concepts!
English: Our budding writers have been inspired by our class novel and have produced some truly brilliant narratives. They've focused on creating vivid descriptions of the setting, using figurative language to paint a picture with words. We're so impressed with their creativity and attention to detail.
Geography: We had a fantastic time on our field trip this week! We visited two different locations to observe the number of vehicles and discuss the impact of traffic on our environment. The children were engaged and enthusiastic, asking thoughtful questions and making insightful observations.
DT: Our mini chefs have been hard at work, creating delicious starters with peppers and main courses with salmon! The children loved sharing their culinary creations with their classmates, and we had a lot of fun critiquing the dishes in the style of "Come Dine With Me." It was a truly memorable experience!

In total, you should spend between 1 hour and 1 hour and a half on your homework.
Spelling tests will be every Friday
Reading diaries will be checked every Monday
