We have had a very busy few weeks in the Early Years! Setting up our learning environments to make them stimulating, exciting and engaging. The children have all settled well into their classes, making friends and learning their new routines. We look forward to our journeys ahead!
We have had a very busy few weeks in the Early Years! Setting up our learning environments to make them stimulating, exciting and engaging. The children have all settled well into their classes, making friends and learning their new routines. We look forward to our journeys ahead!
NURSERY
It is a joy to see the nursery children settling in so well. They are exploring the resources inside and out with such curiosity and enthusiasm. They love to build and create with the blocks, paint and draw at the art table, and read stories in the book corner. Outside, they enjoy running around the playground, playing in the sandpit, and climbing on the climbing frame.
The snack station is another favourite spot for the nursery children. They love to choose their own snacks, pour their own drinks, and they enjoy eating and drinking together with their friends. They are always so excited to see what new snacks the nursery staff have put out.
We would like to thank all of the parents and guardians for their contributions to the snack station. Your generosity is very much appreciated. The nursery children love trying all of the different snacks, and they are always asking for more!
We are so glad to see that the nursery children are enjoying their time at nursery. We are committed to providing them with a safe and stimulating environment where they can learn and grow.
Please ensure that you have used your Seesaw QR code to log in and keep updated on our adventures in the nursery.
RECEPTION
By now you should have received your Seesaw codes. This is our learning platform for us to communicate with parents and to show off the amazing learning your children are doing. Please ensure you have downloaded the app and have logged in.
Your child will be sent home a shared reading book weekly. This is a story book for you to read to them and share. Please record it in their reading record. Please leave this book and the reading record in the book bag.
Reception home learning will be uploaded weekly onto seesaw. We expect all children to have a go at the short activity with support from adults at home.
Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly named, including bags, water bottles and lunchboxes.
