Year 10 Work Experience

We are proud to share the impressive achievements of our year 10 students who have recently completed a wide range of work placements across various industries. These placements form a vital part of our Careers Programme and offer students invaluable insight into the world of work, helping them to make informed decisions about their futures.

This year, our students have demonstrated great initiative and professionalism in securing placements in some truly prestigious organisations. In the finance sector, students gained experience with renowned firms such as ING Bank and UBS gaining a first hand understanding of global markets and financial operations.

In the property and architecture industry, placements with organisations such as Knight Frank LLP gave students exposure to real estate development, urban planning and property investment strategies.

Students also gained work experience in a range of industries, including law, dentistry, pharmacy, engineering, and computing and technology, with organisations such as Sega (Sports Interactive).

What makes these achievements even more impressive is that many students had to go through a real-world job application process, creating CVs, writing cover letters and preparing for interviews. This was a fantastic learning experience in itself, helping students to develop their confidence, communication skills and professionalism.

These placements have not only provided a glimpse into potential career paths but have also empowered our students with real-life experience that they can carry forward into higher education, apprenticeships or employment.
